Trainee Members are those currently studying in an approved registered Extra Lesson Practitioner course and can join APELA with the following conditions:

• may attend the AGM and contribute to discussions

• receive a Certificate of Registration as an Extra Lesson Trainee.

• are encouraged to attend annual Professional Development workshops.

• may receive newsletters and other communications, participate in applicable discussion groups, thereby developing supportive links with other APELA members.

• may not vote or be office bearers
